    Privacy Policy

    Effective October 14, 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we may receive, how we use it, and how our instructor network and offsite class services handle their separate responsibilities.

    1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Small Berries is operated by Picture Studios LP ("we," "us," or "our"). We support a network of certified child safety and food safety instructors, provide access to training space at Suite 350 in Greensboro, North Carolina, and publish links to instructors’ classes.

This policy covers personal information we handle through this website and in communications about our network. It does not govern an independent instructor’s records, a certifying organization’s systems, or an external registration or payment website. Those parties have their own privacy notices.

    2. Information you choose to provide

When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the details of your request, including training topics, group size, location, or scheduling preferences. Information you send by phone, mail, or other direct communications is included.

If you seek to join our instructor network, we may receive professional contact details, qualifications, certifying bodies, training topics, availability, equipment information, work history, and a resume or other documents you choose to supply. Do not send Social Security numbers, payment-card details, medical records, or sensitive participant information through a general inquiry.

    3. Technical information and browser storage

When you visit a website, its hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and error information to deliver and protect the service.

Browser storage and cookies may be used for site functionality, security, or preferences where those features are offered. Third-party services may set their own cookies when you visit their sites. Your browser lets you delete stored information or restrict cookies; doing so may affect available features.

    4. How we use information

We use relevant information to respond to inquiries, coordinate training requests and venue arrangements, assess instructor interest and qualifications, communicate about network opportunities or class logistics, and provide instructor support.

We may also use information to maintain accurate business records, troubleshoot the website, prevent misuse, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations. An inquiry or application does not guarantee placement in the network, work, class availability, or a response within a particular time.

    5. When information may be shared

We may share the details needed to address a training request with a relevant network instructor or venue coordinator. Service providers assisting with hosting, communications, technical support, or business administration may process information for those purposes.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

    6. External class registration and payments

Class links may take you to Eventbrite, SignupGenius, an instructor’s website, or another independent service. Registration, purchases, payment processing, refunds, and related participant data are handled offsite under that service’s and the instructor’s terms and privacy policies. We do not collect payment-card details for those offsite purchases through this website.

Before registering, review the destination’s privacy notice and confirm who organizes the class. An instructor or platform may share limited registration or attendance information with us when needed to coordinate a venue or respond to a request; we use information we receive as described in this policy.

    7. Instructor and certification records

Network instructors are responsible for maintaining their credentials and handling the certification, attendance, skills-assessment, and recordkeeping processes required by their respective certifying organizations. We are not the issuer or custodian of those organizations’ certification records merely because a class is linked here or held at Suite 350.

For a replacement certificate, correction to a training record, or a question about assessment information, contact the instructor or issuing organization. If you are unsure whom to contact, you may ask us for help identifying the appropriate party.

    8. Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including handling your request, managing instructor relationships, maintaining necessary records, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and the circumstances; records may be retained longer when required for a dispute or legal duty.

We use reasonable administrative and technical precautions appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

    9. Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask us to correct information you provided, stop nonessential communications, or review or delete information we hold about you. Contact us by phone or at the mailing address below. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may retain information required for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your personal information, or appeal a decision about a request. We will handle requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a protected privacy right. Requests about information held solely by an instructor or registration platform must be directed to that party.

    10. Children’s information

This website is intended for adult instructors, parents, caregivers, and organizations, not for children to submit personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it.

For classes involving minors, parents or guardians should communicate directly with the instructor about participation, consent, and any necessary information. Do not include a child’s medical details in a general website inquiry.

    11. Other websites, social media, and service locations

Links to Suite 350, social media, registration platforms, or other websites are provided for convenience. Visiting those sites is subject to their practices, and interacting with a social media service may disclose information to that service. We do not control third-party sites.

Our operations are based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or in locations used by our service providers, subject to applicable legal requirements.

    12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required by law.
