    Terms of Service

    Effective October 14, 2026

These terms explain the role of Small Berries, the responsibilities of network instructors, and what to expect when arranging training or following a link to an offsite class.

    1. Agreement and operator

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Small Berries website and our instructor-support services. Small Berries is operated by Picture Studios LP ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Separate written agreements may govern venue rentals, instructor support, production services, or other arrangements. For the specific service it covers, an applicable written agreement takes precedence over conflicting provisions of these website terms.

    2. What Small Berries provides

Small Berries supports certified child safety and food safety instructors, helps connect instructors with people and organizations seeking training, provides access to space for trainers at Suite 350 in Greensboro, North Carolina, and publishes links to classes offered by network instructors.

We are an instructor-support network, not a certifying body. Publishing a class link or providing a classroom does not mean we issue certifications, operate the external registration platform, or take responsibility for an instructor’s credentialing and recordkeeping. The instructor, certifying organization, and registration provider each retain their respective responsibilities.

    3. Who may use the site and acceptable use

The website is intended for adults who can enter binding agreements, including instructors, parents, caregivers, and authorized organizational representatives. A parent or guardian should handle arrangements for a minor’s participation. If you submit information for an organization or another person, you must have authority to do so.

Provide accurate information and use the site lawfully. Do not misrepresent qualifications, impersonate others, submit unlawful or infringing material, disclose another person’s private information without permission, interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated tools in a way that disrupts service.

    4. Instructor credentials and professional obligations

Instructors are responsible for maintaining current, appropriate credentials and authorization from their respective certifying organizations, following applicable course standards, using suitable equipment, and satisfying any applicable licensing, insurance, safety, and legal requirements.

Instructors maintain the credentialing and recordkeeping process with the relevant organizations, including required attendance records, assessments, skills checks, certificate submissions, and retention of training records. Instructors must accurately describe their courses and may not imply that Small Berries issues a credential or guarantees a participant’s certification.

An application or listing does not guarantee network acceptance, employment, referrals, income, available teaching space, or continued participation. The terms of an instructor’s relationship with us, including any fees or specific support commitments, are determined by the applicable separate agreement.

    5. Class links, registration, and offsite purchases

Classes are purchased or registered for offsite, for example through Eventbrite, SignupGenius, an instructor’s website, or another provider. Before purchasing, confirm the course organizer, subject, credential offered, prerequisites, location, date, price, platform fees, and the cancellation and refund policy on the destination site.

The instructor or external organizer is responsible for the class offering; the external platform handles its own registration and payment functions. Your transaction is subject to their applicable terms. A link on this site is not a guarantee of availability, quality, acceptance of a credential, or the performance of an external service. Small Berries does not process those offsite course purchases through this website.

    6. Cancellations, refunds, and scheduling

Questions about refunds, transfers, cancellations, missed classes, payment disputes, or registration errors should be directed to the instructor or provider shown on your registration confirmation. Their published policies apply; we do not establish a universal refund policy for independently offered classes.

An inquiry through Small Berries is not a confirmed booking. Instructor availability, space, equipment, and class schedules are subject to confirmation. Venue changes, postponements, and cancellations may occur; review the organizer’s communications and applicable agreement before making travel or attendance arrangements.

    7. Certification and participant responsibilities

Attendance or payment does not by itself guarantee certification. Participants may need to satisfy prerequisites, complete required instruction, demonstrate skills, pass an exam, and meet the issuing organization’s requirements. Confirm with the instructor that a course and credential meet your employer’s, regulator’s, or organization’s needs before registering.

Follow instructor directions and venue safety rules. Ask the organizer about accessibility, accommodations, physical participation requirements, or other needs before the class. Training is educational and is not individualized medical advice or a substitute for emergency services; in an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

    8. Suite 350 and venue use

Our network uses training space at Suite 350, 3 Centerview Drive Suite 350, Greensboro, NC 27407-3725. Venue information is available at www.suite350.com. Access to space is subject to availability, confirmation, and applicable venue agreements and rules.

Providing space does not transfer an instructor’s professional or certification responsibilities to the venue or to Small Berries. Attendees and instructors must comply with occupancy limits, equipment instructions, conduct rules, and other applicable safety requirements. Any rental charges, damage obligations, or cancellation terms must be confirmed in the relevant venue agreement.

    9. Information and materials you submit

You remain responsible for information and materials you provide, including contact details, qualification claims, resumes, and class descriptions. You must have the necessary rights and permissions to share them. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

You authorize us to use submitted materials as reasonably needed to respond to your request, evaluate network participation, coordinate the services you seek, and carry out agreed support. This does not transfer ownership of your materials or grant unrestricted permission to publish a private resume or confidential participant record. Any separate promotional or production permissions may be addressed in a written agreement.

    10. Our content and service marks

The website’s branding, original text, images, and other materials are owned by Picture Studios LP or used with permission, except where otherwise identified. "Small Berries" and "Safety Training For Child Educators" are Service Marks of Picture Studios LP. These terms do not grant a license to use our marks or suggest endorsement.

You may view and use the website for personal use or legitimate training inquiries. You may not reproduce, sell, distribute, or commercially exploit protected materials without permission, except as allowed by law. Names and marks of certifying organizations, platforms, and other third parties belong to their respective owners; references do not imply sponsorship or affiliation.

    11. Third-party services and site information

We do not control external websites, registration providers, social media services, or certifying organizations. Their availability, content, policies, and services may change. Review their terms and privacy notices before using them.

We aim to provide useful, accurate information, but class details and website content may contain errors or become outdated. Confirm material details with the instructor or organizer. We may correct information, change links, or modify or discontinue website features without guaranteeing uninterrupted access.

    12. Disclaimers and limits of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and general support information are provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, fitness for a particular purpose, or a particular training or business outcome. Nothing here overrides an express commitment in an applicable separate written agreement.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from website use, external platforms, or independently offered classes, including lost profits or opportunities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits nonwaivable consumer rights, or excuses our own conduct where applicable law prevents such a limitation.

    13. Misuse, changes, and disputes

We may restrict access to the website or remove submitted content when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, inaccurate representations, or legal requirements. A separate agreement controls termination of any separately contracted service.

We may revise these terms and update the effective date. Changes apply prospectively, and we will provide additional notice when required by law. These terms are governed by North Carolina law, without displacing mandatory protections that apply to you. Where legally permitted, disputes concerning these website terms may be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in Guilford County, North Carolina. Please contact us first if a question or concern may be resolved directly.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent allowed by law. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

    14. Contact
